Blue Ribbon
Raising the bar
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes elementary, middle and high schools based on their overall high academic achievement or success in closing the achievement gap among diverse groups of students.
“The National Blue Ribbon Schools Award is a testament to the exceptional achievements of students and educators at each of these schools,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. “The 2024 National Blue Ribbon Schools are raising the bar for our nation’s students, serving as models for effective teaching and intentional collaboration in their schools and communities.”

Beginning in 1982, the purpose of the National Blue Ribbon School Program is to highlight the best schools in the U.S. with the purpose of sharing the best practices among schools across the country. The program is supported through ongoing collaboration with the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the Association for Middle Level Education, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
As of the Spring of 2025, we are thrilled to announce that we again apply for a third blue ribbon. Saint Andrew School’s curriculum (PreK through grade 8) is thoughtfully designed to challenge students, provide academic rigor, and prepare them for success in high school and beyond.
