General Admission Criteria

Age Requirements
Age requirements are:
  • Half Day – 3 or 4 years old by September 1
  • Full Day - 3 or 4 years old by September 1
  • Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years by September 1
Acceptance
In order to maintain small class sizes enrollment must sometimes be limited. The following factors are considered, in the order indicated, to determine acceptance:

  1. Returning students who are currently enrolled in Pre-school through 8th grade
  2. Siblings of students who are currently enrolled in Pre-school through 8th grade and are returning
  3. Children of registered Saint Andrew Parishioners
  4. Children, grandchildren or siblings of Saint Andrew School Alumni
  5. Catholic children of families not registered at Saint Andrew Parish
  6. Non-Catholic children
Additional Criteria
Certain additional criteria may be considered as part of the acceptance process:
  • Family located within parish boundaries
  • Participation in Baby Bulldogs and Early Learners Program
  • Affiliation with organizations with a long term relationship with Saint Andrew School
  • A child applying to Early Childhood Education [ECE] must be toilet trained.
Financial Assistance
Saint Andrew School/Parish believes that every family has the right to a Catholic Education.

To this end, Saint Andrew School offers financial assistance to families who qualify. Families seeking assistance must apply online to FACTS Tuition Management.

Saint Andrew School is happy to accept transfer students. Students and their parents will meet with the school administration prior to admission. Parents should submit up to date academic records and files.
