• Wearin’ the Green is the Saint Andrew Community’s largest benefit of the year! The 13th annual Wearin’ the Green will be on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 from 6pm – 12am and will feature dinner, open bar, and live entertainment from the Saint Andrew Foy School of Irish Dance and Wedding Banned!
• There are over 600 attendees at Wearin’ the Green. We have sponsorship and advertiser opportunities, both live & silent auctions, sign up parties, class projects, a large gym to decorate, marketing to be done, and much more! It takes a HUGE team to make this event a success!
• Calling all Saint Andrew School and Parish families. Please join us to find out more information about this AMAZING event or to volunteer your time to be on a committee. Don’t be shy…it’s a ton of fun and it is so rewarding to see your efforts translate into huge fundraising for Saint Andrew!
• Why join the Wearin’ the Green committee??? Here is a testimonial from Heather Collins about how she first got involved and what that has meant to her:
o I remember feeling a little intimidated walking into my first wearing of the green meeting. I wanted to get involved but I wasn't sure how they could use my help or my talents. But from the first meeting I came home very excited about the new community I had joined. I was thrilled to meet a room full of men and women who were kind and gracious and all had the same can-do attitude I did. We all seem to check our egos at the door and join forces. I wish it was that way in my career! Ha
Over the years I've gotten to know many new faces and really bonded with so many of the moms/dads that I see at pick up and drop off every day. It is a wonderful experience to get to know the people in our Saint Andrew community in a way I could not have achieved on the Saint Andrew play lot. It's very inspiring to see these big projects all come together and know that this group of people, now my friends, did it by working together. The result is incredibly gratifying on so many levels.
