The Philosophy of Saint Andrew School

We believe that successful students and dedicated teachers value education and the pursuit of lifelong learning

We believe that collaboration between teachers, parents and students, built on mutual understanding, cooperation and responsibility benefits the student. Advocacy over adversary is a common practice.

We believe in a’just right’ challenge for every student and that fair isn’t always equal.

We believe that every student can achieve academic success, grow spiritually and be of service to Saint Andrew School, Parish and Community.

We believe that students, teachers and parents working in harmony creates a culture of  respect, understanding and tolerance.  Everyone deserves kindness.

We believe that every student has the right to a safe and nurturing environment.

We believe that through Catholic teachings every student will develop a personal relationship with God.

We believe that diversity is a strength that gives students an understanding of race, ethnicity, culture and the world in which we live.

We believe participating in the performing and fine arts fosters creativity, and individuality.

We believe that participation in athletics and physical education builds teamwork and physical well being.

We believe in doing whatever it takes to help students learn by providing a student centered school and that responsive teaching to benefits student learning.
